Glass subjected to high temperature (here in the range of 760 - 960 degrees Celsius) behaves like a thick liquid, it aims to achieve a thickness of 6 mm. Here, the eyelet was made of high-quality cathedral glass: Huta St. Just, which has been in existence for almost 200 years, produces them by hand, and is used for classic stained glass windows and their renovation.
